Why ‘All or Nothing’ Is a Non-Starter

Which of these sounds like you when starting a new challenge or program?

“I’ve got this! I’m 100% in!!”

Or

“I’m terrible at this. I always quit anyway.”

Surprisingly, that kind of all-or-nothing thinking is super-common in all kinds of activities, including exercise and eating right. We convince ourselves that we must be 100% on point, and if we’re not, then we might as well not even try.

“I win or I lose – that’s all there is to it.”

But this is really a no-win proposition because very few of us will ever be totally perfect in our health & fitness journey.

And the goal isn’t to be perfect anyway! It’s to make progress every single day.

It’s to stay committed to what you deeply desire for your body and health long-term.

Try to reject that “one way or the other” false choice. Instead, decide what you want and need to do, and then set about doing it to the best of your ability.

You can make it – with the joy and self-love you deserve! And we are here to help :)
